Jesus Quotes about Faith

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9
This verse is a keeper when it comes to needing a shot of encouragement to make it through the day. It’s a wonderful reminder to just keep on keeping on because God is with you – no matter what. When the days and night are tough, remember this.

“But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31
Have every just been too tired to even think? You’re so tired that you’re not even sure you can pray for strength. You feel like every single time you start to pick yourself back up that someone or something sucker punches you and you’re back on the ground. We’ve all been there. And, hear this: it’s OK. Let the truth of Isaiah 40:31 really sink in. Release everything that your thinking and just let God carry you and renew your strength because that is His promise.

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”  Matthew 6:34
Worry. It comes so easy to just about everyone, as many are self-proclaimed worrywarts. Are you one of them? If so, keep this verse somewhere you can see it so that when you begin to worry, you can use this as a reminder. What’s so great about this chapter is that if you read a few verses before this, Jesus literally says, “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” (Matthew 6:26). Rest assured that God will help you.
